Update: A second Conservative councillor, James White, has resigned in Coombe Vale, so there will be a double by-election on 15th December.

Conservative Robert John Tasker has resigned as Coombe Vale Councillor triggering a by-election that will take place on 15th December.

Residents in that ward have until 30th November to get on the register to be able to vote.

In the last local elections in 2010 Lib Dems were only 80 votes behind the Tories in Coombe Vale, so this contest will be closely fought.
