The community group One Norbiton is planning to open a Community Hub on the Cambridge Road Estate. The Hub will offer space for local groups, the Police Safer Neighbourhood Team and charities - and will be a place where local people could get help and advice.

“This is great news,” said Norbiton’s Lib Dem Cllr Bill Brisbane. “I think the Hub will be especially important as the regeneration of the Cambridge Road Estate occurs, so that people can more easily find out what is happening.”

“Getting this Hub has not been easy,” said One Norbiton Director, Dave Ryder-Mills. “Over the last 6 months Kingston’s Conservative-run Council has placed many obstacles to the plan, delaying progress. So we are grateful to Councillor Bill Brisbane for all his continuing efforts to remove them and deliver the Hub.”
