We need more NHS Dentists

Dentist

The shortage of NHS dentists in Kingston and South West London has been labelled a "disaster in the making" by Kingston and Surbiton's Liberal Democrat MP, Edward Davey.

Department of Health figures show that only 36% of adults in South West London are registered with an NHS dentist, compared to the national average of 44%.

Local NHS dentists are now refusing to take on new patients because they are already overworked. There are many people in our area who simply can't afford to go private and who are going without basic dental care.
