Kingston Conservative hypocrisy over hospital disabled parking charges

At a crucial meeting at Kingston Council, local Lib Dems, alongside many residents, were left in shock after Conservative Councillors FAILED to support a recommendation to immediately scrap disabled parking charges at Kingston Hospital.

Despite urging other residents to support a Tory petition against the disabled parking charges, Conservative Councillor Rowena Bass, who was chairing the meeting, voted AGAINST the recommendation to scrap charges, to the outrage of many residents who were seated in the public gallery.

Lib Dems and local residents were left shocked. The Conservatives have gone completely against what they have been petitioning which is complete hypocrisy.

Liberal Democrats will continue to fight against the disabled parking charges that have now been introduced.

With local elections just weeks away, you have the chance to remove these incompetent Conservatives from power at Kingston Council. By voting Liberal Democrat, you will be voting for a fairer Council that listens to residents’ concerns.

Let’s make Kingston better, together!

Don't fall for fake Tory petitions. Over 2,850 people have already signed our genuine petition against the unfair disabled parking charges at Kingston Hospital.
