Kingston Gate ward candidate
Farshid Sadr-Hashemi lives off Kingston Hill, and retired early from a career in the City.
He was motivated by the Brexit referendum to get involved with politics.
Farshid has always tried to achieve his objectives as best as he can. Such as getting his black belt in Chinese Kung Fu at the age of sixteen (one of the youngest to have ever achieved this). He then helped others by teaching Kung Fu for nearly 40 years at Imperial College. He has a Fifth Dan now.
Having achieved a First at UCL Farshid was offered a chance to do PhD straight away. After finishing his PhD he started working at WS Atkins in Epsom from which he was head hunted to the City of London. He has managed international group with budgets in excess of $500m. Again in order to be able to contribute more, Farshid took a MBA which he passed with commendation, showing again that he is capable and determined to do the best he can.
Now post Brexit he has the time and belief that it is his civic duty to help his community and neighbors.
