Don’t let the homeless and vulnerable go hungry in Kingston this Christmas
Every Tuesday, volunteers from the CREst residents group on Norbiton’s Cambridge Road Estate provide a hot meal in Piper Hall to the vulnerable and homeless in the Norbiton/Kingston area.
Kingston Council wants to shut the hall for two weeks over Christmas, stopping volunteers from providing meals over the Christmas period. No funding or assistance is required, as volunteers have raised necessary funds and are fully trained.
I call upon Kingston Council to let volunteers feed homeless and vulnerable people in Piper Hall this Christmas.
