Kim Bailey

Coombe Hill ward candidate

Kim Bailey

I was elected as a councillor in Coombe Vale, after a number of years where this part of Kingston did not have any liberal representation. We have now built an excellent liberal team who would like to work as councillors in this area.

Having lived, worked, studied and volunteered in SW15 and the Kingston area for over 30 years, and being from a mixed Asian & European background, I feel I am in a good position to carry on representing the area. After working in the private sector in finance and business, and having my three children at Kingston Hospital, I obtained a BSC/MSC in Environmental Science from Kingston University as a mature student, volunteered with local charities and embarked on a second career in local government.

Whilst serving on the Council, I have been an Adult Social Care & Public Health Portfolio Holder, Vice Chair of Audit & Governance, and Vice Chair of Planning.

I would like to carry on representing the local community, and hope the breadth and depth of experience will be valuable in this.
