Local Lib Dem Councillors spent a cold Saturday morning out speaking to residents on roads surrounding where a new Lidl could be built.
Having met with MACRA (Manorgate and Carlisle Road Association) to discuss concerns raised regarding traffic around the new development, Kingston Liberal Democrats went out door knocking to speak with local residents to hear their views.
Residents also have an opportunity to have their say as the application will be discussed at a Kingston Neighbourhood Committee meeting on 27th March 2019 before a decision is expected the following Wednesday.
Councillor Olivia Boult said, "It was great to get out and hear from residents about ongoing issues in the local area especially in regards to a potential new Lidl in the area. The application will now be discussed at a Kingston Neighbourhood Committee meeting taking place on 27th March which residents are welcome to attend."
