FAQs about "In Conversation with Jonny Oates: I Never Promised You A Rose Garden"

Where is this event taking place?
Once we've confirmed numbers, we will let ticket holders know the exact address of this event. It is close to Fishponds Park, and, in advance, our thanks go to the member who is hosting us.

Please note that you should bring with you something to sit on, such as a picnic blanket or camping chair. It's also worth keeping an eye on the weather and dressing accordingly.

What if the weather is bad?
We're keeping an eye on the weather forecast, and should it not be in our favour, we will either move the event online or propose a new date in the future to host the event.

I'm worried about coronavirus – is it safe to attend?
Although we expect current coronavirus restrictions will have come to an end (on 19 July), we still plan to host this event outdoors (so please check the weather forecast) to allow for social distancing. We will also have hand sanitiser available, and you are more than welcome to take additional precautions such as wearing a face mask if you'd prefer.

I'd like to pay in cash or via cheque – how do I do that?
Where possible, please purchase your tickets through here. If you, or someone you know, would like to attend, but would rather pay in cash or via cheque on the night, then please contact JK (details below) to arrange.

I appreciate the need to raise money for 2022's elections – how can I donate more?
On the night, we will be running a bar accepting donations for further drinks. We will also have buckets for other donations too. If you'd like to give more than some loose change/notes on the night, please contact JK (details below) to discuss.

We do encourage everyone to give generously.

I've bought a ticket which includes a copy of Jonny Oates' book – when will I get it?
We will be holding the books at the event for you to pick up when you arrive.

I can't make the event, but I'd still like a copy of Jonny Oates' book – how do I get one?
Every ticket sold that includes Jonny's book, and every copy we sell, will help raise some money for the local party. If you can't join us, we're please to announce that you can still help raise money for our campaign by purchasing a copy on its own for £20. Please contact JK (details below) for more information.

If you have any other questions, please email JK ([email protected]).
