South Western Railway propose to cut services to many stations in our Borough, including Kingston, Norbiton, Motspur Park and Worcester Park.
At a time when we should be encouraging more people onto the railways, we’re appalled by the Department of Transport’s insistence on reducing services as a cost cutting measure.
-
Surbiton will see peak morning 'fast' services cut by 20%
-
Kingston and Norbiton will see peak morning services (via Wimbledon) cut by 33%
-
Motspur Park will see peak morning services cut by 25% and off-peak services cut by 33%, and
-
Worcester Park will see peak morning services cut by 33% and off-peak services cut by 50%
